It has been a hard winter for plants
We had several very cold periods without a snow cover to protect our plants this year.
Boxwoods seem to have taken a hit more than other plants, but most of them should recover. A tip for next fall is to spray them with Wilt Proof. It will save the leaves from drying out and being damaged by winter burn.
Some plants are still dormant and will emerge soon. Anything in the Hibiscus family will probably not show any signs of life for another couple of weeks. Most roses are sprouting new green, but some of the Knock -Out roses are still waiting to show new leaves. Hydrangeas are also not very far along, but as temperatures continue to stay in the 70’s you will see plants recover.
